On the 2nd of November 2003 members of the Leamington Mission based Avenue worship band led the worship in the local Starbucks coffee house. Part of the aims of the Avenue worship band is to take worship into the communities that we live in. So when the opportunity arose from members of the Baptist Church in Hersall Common, Coventry to lead at this venue we jumped at the chance. The service was conducted after hours and provided a new and novel place to worship God.

"The songs we led the congregation in worship included 'What a friend I've found', 'We want to see Jesus lifted high' and many more."
