What makes a great live outdoor event? Sabbath 3rd April was Leamington's chance to put our theory to the test! The formula was:

1. Get two great bands
2. Nominate a great charity
3. Get them all together on one afternoon
4. Mix in a bit of rain
5. Add lashings of worship

And hey presto you have the bandstand event!!

The Avenue Worship Band from Leamington and Lisalife from Worcester came together to promote The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA). The plan was simple: through great entertainment and a bit of fun we wanted to raise awareness and money in aid of ADRA.

Raafat Kamal the UK ADRA director was there with us to remind us and share with us the work that ADRA has done and continues to strive to do. As a result of the afternoon more than £125 was raised.

As part of the ADRA campaign there was also an ADRA Banquet held on the 27th March which brought in more than £250.
