April 28th marked a special occasion in the Leamington Mission calendar. Members and visitors gathered to witness and celebrate the baptism of Cliff Proctor who first visited Leamington in late September 2000. No stranger to Adventism, Cliff recently moved to the area and was looking for a church and happened to find Leamington Mission.

At the time, Leamington were in need of an experienced sound engineer to orchestrate and help manage the visual and audio mixing desk, and a perfect match was found. As a digital broadcast engineer, Cliff was more than suited for the job, and prayers were answered in more ways than one.

A chance conversation revealed that Cliff had not yet been baptised and the necessary planning was soon put in place to welcome him into the Lord's family.
