Alan was our Pastor from the inception of the Leamington Spa SDA Church in January 1991 until October 2003, with just 18 members in the early days. He has a supportive wife Christine, and two children who are both married. His interests include woodturning, philately, walking, and enjoying his newly arrived granddaughter. Alan has grown a Church now numbering almost one hundred, which has initiative, is self-reliant, and takes responsibility for running a wide range of activities to which all are invited.

"I have sought to encourage the Church with a worship style that is contemporary and relevant to the twenty first century, but at the same time being very spiritual."

The church is designed to be inviting to the unchurched in the community, and Alan's grey hairs belie his vigour and youthful attitude.
